Do you want to use a fertility calculator to increase your chances of falling pregnant? Welcome to the Proceive website. We were founded in order to help couples who are experiencing problems with fertility. We understand that couples are leaving it much later until trying for a baby, which can greatly affect their fertility rate. Therefore, we have formulated nutritional supplements that can help by providing the extra support needed to support good pre-conception health. Our fertility calculator helps couples understand the best days in the woman’s menstrual cycle to conceive.
Couples are most likely to conceive if they have sex within a day or so of ovulation, which is usually 14 days after the first day of the woman’s last period. This is only applicable if their menstrual cycle is around 28 days long. However, if you have longer cycles, such as 35 days between periods, ovulation would occur on day 21, making your most fertile days 19, 20 and 21. Some women have very irregular cycles or find it difficult to work out an average cycle length, so it can be difficult trying to decipher when ovulation happens.
Using our fertility calculator to help you determine the best time to have sex is very important. However, we do recommend continuing to have sex in between the times suggested by the calculator - in order to improve your chances of success. If you want to get pregnant, having sex every 2 to 3 days throughout the month will give you the best chance. The danger of waiting until close to ovulation is that the sperm will not have time to get there before the egg disintegrates. Sperm can survive and remain fertile for around 7 days, and the egg can be fertilised for up to 24 hours after ovulation.
To use our fertility calculator, you have to enter the first day of your last period and how long your cycle usually lasts. If you are unsure, it’s possible for you to experience a variety of ovulation symptoms, which every woman feels at a different degree of intensity. The calculator will then show you the best days to have sex that could lead to pregnancy. Depending on the length of your menstrual cycle, the most fertile days for intercourse vary in the cycle.
